During times of viruses, allergies and common colds the use of air purifiers can help consumers maintain their health as well as reducing indoor pollutants. However, consumers are unaware of the benefits that come with the use of an air purifier and often see this gadget as an extra unnecessary purchase and a cost, rather than a perk.

 

A Benefit Value Test was conducted amongst Dutch consumers to identify the preferred benefits and determine the key points for air purifier producers to communicate their product in a more effective way.
