An insurance for self-employed millennials

The challenge

Designing a high appeal insurance proposition tailored to self-employed millennials.

The approach

Based on the already available insights previously gathered by our client, we defined a 3 steps research approach aimed at answering our client's questions.

  • First, we run a qualitative deep dive to understand perceptions towards insurances and understanding (proposition) needs.

  • Then, we conducted a full conjoint-study and quantitative concept-validation in order to gain insights on what combination of attributes are preferred against what price.

  • Last, we helped design the MVP (clickable demo) and explored the concept and communication with target consumers.

The results

The positive outcome of the research was translated into tangible and concrete ready-to-use input. Moreover, the results were an eye opener for the team that realised they had an urgent need to change their approach with regards to the millennial target group. The MVP was also further developed by the company into a ready-to-launch product, which is now under review due to a recent corporate merger. To be continued!
